TAC contributor Mike Gray has an interesting short story in the current issue of the Southern Literary Messenger. "A Dram of Pity" is a "weird tale" set during an unnamed war and dealing with cosmic justice, and it’s his first published story.

The style and subject matter remind me of Manly Wade Wellman, which is quite a compliment. It’s available for free here.
