I have about 20 hours of Laurel and Hardy short films from TCM that I still have to transfer to DVDs, plus about 40 hours of mystery and suspense films from TCM that also need to be burned to DVDs. But since I still have 21 percent left on my DVR, I’m not in panic mode just yet.
Same here, Sam. My DVR has almost reached capacity. I’m down to less than eight hours of standard and two hours of HD. Time to start weeding.
I’m looking forward to the Dr. Gillespie movies. Lionel Barrymore was always the real star of the Dr. Kildare films (in which he played Dr. Gillespie), with Laraine Day as the second major attraction.
It’s also interesting to see that TCM has got hold of a couple of very good early James Bond movies. If DirecTV had TCM in HD (instead of standard def only), I would never have any room at all on my DVR.
