Join nationally recognized acting teacher, Richard Robichaux as he explores the journey of film acting from stage to screen and the challenges and opportunities this journey presents. Learn what the audition process entails for film and experience first-hand how the actor and creative team are able to transform their work to produce what you see on the movie theater screen. Robichaux will discuss the necessary skills and insights actors will need to step into the business of acting for the camera.

Richard has worked with Al Pacino, Susan Sarandon, Billy Crystal, Michael J. Fox and many other great actors and directors. He is a frequent guest speaker at universities and conferences across the country, and is currently a faculty member at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.  Robichaux has had leading, guest starring and recurring roles on ABC, NBC, CBS, Showtime, Comedy Central and films at the Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.

REGISTRATION

This seminar is free, but does require advance registration. A $10 Networking Lunch will follow the seminar to allow participants time for additional Q&A and informal conversation with the presenter and each other.
